Antalya is one of the most established holiday resorts in Turkey. It is very popular with German tourists, and is one of the few coastal resorts that offers facilities during the winter season.

Located on the southern coast of Turkey and protected by the land mass to the north, the climate in this Mediterranean resort is normally very pleasant at any time of the year. Rainfall is higher than in the Aegean resorts, resulting in higher humidity during the summer.
